Shalom Village is a not-for-profit organization in Hamilton Ontario that provides a host of services for older adults, the most important of which is the opportunity to form a meaningful connection to a vibrant community. Their goal is to look beyond physical needs to help people continue to lead rewarding lives as members of a supportive community.
Services offered at Shalom Village include long term care, assisted living apartments, convalescent care (to help people return home after surgery or illness), a day program for seniors living in the community, and a fitness centre for people over the age of 70.
Shalom Village is affiliated with the McMaster University Faculty of Health Sciences and is a member of the Ontario Long Term Care Association (OLTCA). Shalom Village is accredited with exemplary standing by Accreditation Canada, and is a Spectator Readers Choice Diamond Award winner.
