Videos and New Web Site

We are working to enhance our communication with the Sumac community.

One of the first results is training videos. We are adding a new one every few weeks, but there are now several training videos in the Support section of the site. Click here to see them. Even experienced users have told us that these videos tell them things they did not know. We would be pleased to receive your feedback.

Please let us know how we can enhance our web site to make it more useful to you.

Holiday Hours

The Sumac office will close at noon on December 23, re-opening on Wednesday, December 30. The office will also be closed on January 1.

We hope you take a few moments to relax and enjoy this holiday season.

New Members of the Sumac Community

We are happy to provide the best software and services to these great organizations:

Hospice Peterborough helps guide people living with a life threatening illness and grief through all the challenges, changes and difficult decisions they face. Hospice Peterborough switched to Sumac from a custom built database they had been using for ten years. We are working together to enable Sumac to track and report client information in accordance with provincial hospice standards.

METRAC (Metropolitan Action Committee on Violence Against Women and Children) works to prevent and end violence against diverse women, youth, and children. METRAC moved to Sumac from Income Manager to take advantage of Sumac's greater ease of use and more powerful data management.

Toronto Dance Theatre is dedicated to the creation of original works that celebrate the power of the human imagination. TDT is using Sumac to integrate its divers databases to provide a more coherent picture of its community and support better interactions with them.
