All current Sumac users receive a free Payment Processing upgrade of their installation while avoiding the associated licensing fees. This means that all Sumac clients can process credit card payments instantaneously. Sumac provides secure encrypted storage of sensitive protected financial data.
Integrating advanced payment processing into Sumac makes it easier to accept payments for donations, memberships, pledges (recurring donations), tickets and other sales of products or services while generating automated payment records that describe and track transactions. The Payment Processing module also eliminates extra terminals and communication lines used for credit card authorization.
